I have lived in Orange County my entire life with the exception of two years spent in Richmond, California. I graduated from Fullerton Union High School in 1967. I earned an A.A. degree from Fullerton College in Business Administration in 1969. I earned a B.A. degree in Business Administration—Accounting in 1971 from California State University—Fullerton. In the spring of 2002 I completed an M.A. degree in Physical Education Administration at California State University—Dominguez Hills.

I have been teaching full-time at Cypress College since the spring of 1988. Prior to that I taught part-time for eight years at Cypress, Fullerton, Riverside, and Saddleback Colleges. My primary teaching assignment is in the Accounting Department but I also teach for the Marketing/Management Department. I am scheduled to begin teaching for the Physical Education and Athletics Division in the spring of 2003.

During my tenure at Cypress College, I have held the positions of Accounting Department Coordinator, Interim Dean of two divisions, Saturday Administrator, and I am currently the Friday Administrator. I served on the Academic Senate for six years and held the office of Treasurer for one year and of Secretary for two years. I have been a member of the United Faculty Board of Directors for the past ten years including eight in the office of Treasurer. I also have served as a member of the College’s Budget and Planning Committee since it was formed by merging the Budget Committee with the Campus Planning Council.
