Do you want to develop your business and leadership skills? Expand your career horizons? Work in marketing, advertising or sales? Grow your own business? Whatever your goals may be, the classes, certificates, and degrees offered by the Management and Marketing Departments can help you to reach them.

Working together as a team, the Management and Marketing Departments focus on the human side of business - what it takes to manage and motivate people in the workplace and ways to satisfy customers in the marketplace with the right blend of products and promotions. Providing a wide array of choices, the two departments offer the following:

Management Department - Focused on preparing students to be managers and entrepreneurs, it offers classes in: business, management, human relations, supervision, personal finance, small business management, law, writing, and math.

Marketing Department - Showing students how to develop, price, promote and distribute products in the marketplace, it offers classes in: marketing, advertising, selling, retailing, consumer behavior, multicultural marketing, small business promotion, and international marketing.

In addition to offering four certificates that can lead to Associate Degrees (Management, Small Business Management, Marketing, and Retail Management) and various short-term programs, both departments work closely with other departments on campus to offer specialized certificates in: Hospitality, CIS, Geography, Health Sciences, Music, Multimedia, and more.
